Genderless, technically he's a guy, but he doesn't have any 'guy parts' (kind of a side-effect from being brought to life)

As a kite, he's about a 1 foot tall and 5 feet long
His "Gijinka" form is about 5 feet 10 inches with his horns and about 5 feet 5 inches tall without them

Living Toy; Chinese style Centipede/Segmented Dragon Kite

He's most likely to have hidden tranq. throwing needs or a light dagger or small knife somewhere..

◊ Abilities(if any):
-Can fly as a kite without the need of wind but is still affected by wind currents but can resist them much better than a normal kite
-Can also fly in his giginka form, seems more like floating/levitating, he also glides and hovers, but he can't fly too well while carrying heavy things, like if he was to 'carry' a person, he could only carry them about a few feet off the ground. Most he can carry at a time is 45 lbs. without having too much trouble flying normally
-Can 'blow' gusts of wind, minimal control of air which allows him to act 'weightless' when not in 'toy form.' Also allows him to take off running or push off a surface quickly with a jet stream of wind following him
-He has fire breath (like a typical dragon would) and can breathe different fires depending on what he eats. Naturally he can blow blue-green bale fire which spiritually burns someone (burns soul and feeling) and normal burning red fire His 'breath' is only as powerful as like a Charmander's flamethrower, not too overly-powerful, but can do damage to some degree, also has like a 2 minute 'charging period' between large uses. Typically uses fire for experimentation and in his job as a designer and other side-projects.


◊ Personality:
Kite is an easy-going, carefree, and quite friendly person who 'goes where the winds take him,' and often literally. He likes to have fun like a child, in an innocent way and enjoys helping out around the Toy Store wherever he can possible. He does know when to act serious or gentlemanly, so he isn't without manners. When it comes to holding grudges, he doesn't really do that, but if he is wronged by someone, it's more of a lost of trust issue. So he may not act as friendly but he won't go planning on someone's demise, and he normally gets over it eventually if not soon after.
When it comes to interacting with others in the store, he tries to be on good terms with all, as best as possible, though sometimes, he has no idea how to please some.
He has great work ethic and is generally good about not slacking off. If he does, it's usually because he's looking for inspiration. He does repair himself on occasion, since being made of bamboo, string, and paper is easily prone to accident and easy, quick destruction.
He tends to make his design too colorful at times, and it's hard for him to make designs that lack much elegance or color (like tanks, some weapons, and such). He'll often float on over to the body builders and toy soldiers to get inspiration and assistance in those areas.

◊ Bio:
Kite was first made as a kite for the enjoyment of wealthy families, particularly their children in China. One day, he crashed into a tree and was broken and forgotten. Weeks later, a travelling, middle aged foreigner found him and repaired him. The man who found him also brought him to life with some ancient text which he found on one of his journeys, and they enjoyed each other's company, travelling around the world and hunting for rare artifacts, ancient tomes, and the like. They grew close enough that they had a father-son relationship and stayed together until the man died one day, happily out of old age and having lived a full life. He told Kite to continue to adventure on his own and make new friends, which is what Kite did, until he came across the Toy Store.
He ran into the house while journeying but the weather was taking a turn for the worse, so he sought out shelter. He came across this intriguing looking, yet ominous feeling house and decided to stay. Kite had heard a story from his Dad about a magical place where toys like him that were alive, lived and worked, some doing dark arts and magic. It was a place Kite had dreamed on occasion of finding one day, which, to his luck he did.
Nowadays, he doesn't travel around as much like he used to, but he feels that he doesn't really need to. He enjoys taking on new challenges that the Toy Store gives him, and to him, everyday at the Toy Store is like a new adventure.

-Bad weather (rain, snow is barely tolerable, storms, dark clouds, even though it may not necessarily be raining YET)
-People pulling on his tail (both as a kite and in his "Gijinka" form. Even in his "Gijinka" form, if someone pulls his tail, he can still feel it. It's as if it's physically attached to him, even though technically it's not, in this form)

◊ Additional Information:
- Kite's "full name," [Shien-Faei Long], comes from the wealthy families who used to own him. They called him many different names, but 'ShienLong' or 'FeiLong' came up the most, so he adopted that as his "name." When Avarith Falan found him, the man who became his 'father,' he nicknamed him 'Kite' instead. Kite would still respond to 'Shien' or 'Faei,' but he prefers 'Kite.'
- The thing he has around his neck is the object used to guide and maneuver his kite. Since he doesn't technically need it anymore, he wears it around his neck as a keepsake.
- He can 'compress' his tail when it becomes inconvenient for others or sometimes himself and he does have full control of it like an actual physically attached tail.
- He will get emotional around his Father's passing day and his appearance will change to be funeral-like and he will be depressed and 'out of it' most of the day.
- Also doesn't like to be singled out as a 'colorful freak show' to a point where he'll hide somewhere to sulk and cry, Avarith would normally protect him against things like that.
- A sort of 'ability' but not a huge one, is that he can manipulate the colors/markings on just his body, prefers to just manipulate his 'make-up' color but on certain occasions will change more (i.e., father's passing day)
- Just because his job is 'Designer' doesn't mean he can't also do other things. For example, he can repair his tail without the help of a craftsman and make kites, though he can't sew very well, only small repairs he can do, not whole outfits or giant repairs, knows the basics of metal-working, glass blowing, pottery, and wood-burning as they all include working with fire and were taught to him by his father, including some magic, hence some of the things he can do with fire and some understanding of dark arts and such.
- Even though he's 100+ years old, the part he mainly shows to others is a somewhat naive, childish side, but get past that and he's fairly mature, gentlemanly, and understanding. He has knowledge of different things through travelling and his father, and has survival skills. However, they never really went into large cities and prefers to travel in the rural, country areas and the wild. So when it comes to things that would be hidden within a city, he knows hardly anything about it other than what he can gather from flying over it.
